Sterlite fiber cables deployed in India’s first ‘Formula 1’ race track

Formula One, also known as Formula 1 or F1 is the highest class of single- seater auto racing, sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA). The F1 season consists of a series of races, known as Grands Prix, held on purpose- built circuits. The results of each race are combined to determine two annual World Championships, one for the drivers and one for the constructors. Till 2010, races have held have been held at 68 circuits in 29 countries.

Formula 1 and India The 69th F1 circuit in the 30th country is being built in India. The races would be held at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, 50 km from Delhi.
